Help us to welcome James and Claudia Maniscalco and their daughter Eliana. They have been raised up by the Lord to take over the operation of the orphanage, churches, school and ministry in Malawi Africa. They will be leaving their home in California headed to Malawi for a minimum 5 year term starting this September. Join us in praying for them as they prepare. Soon we will have their bios and contact info on the web in order to help you get to know them.

MALAWI ORPHANAGE NEWS

• The Lord has provided us with a blessed, gifted and called family to go to Malawi and oversee the orphanage and ministry in Malawi, Africa. The family is from California. Their names are James, Claudia & Eliana Maniscalco. We will have their pictures, bios and blog up soon. They are planning on entering the mission field in September of 2009. 

• Our sister Maribeth will be coming home from Malawi in June for a much needed furlough. Pray that she will get accomplished all the Lord has for her before she leaves. Also pray for her wisdom to know what the Lord has for her next. 

• Now that we will have people in place permanently, we will be able to get the doors open on the orphanage. Soon we will be posting the sponsorship information that will let you know how you can sponsor a child in the orphanage.

THRIFT STORES NEWS

• The New June Sales Calendars are online.

• Currently all 3 stores are at a 16 year low in donations of clothing, shoes, furniture, kitchen, household items, etc. Please consider cleaning out your closets, drawers, attics, basements and storage facilities and donating whatever you can. These donations of unused items around your house will help us to continue to meet local needs in our community as well as complete the orphanage in Malawi.
